In the southern end of the India . The state named Tamilnadu. Here the law restrict the people to untie the bulls from the household...!!!. The locals in the state celebrating the traditional festival called PONGAL. Its a harvesting festival. The festival is aimed to enjoy the yield of farmers and felicitating bulls for their contribution to farm the field. Part of this PONGAL festival villagers untie the BULL's from the narrow entrance named as VADI VASAL to the open ground where the youngsters eagerly waiting to tame it by grabbing its hump,this is also called as JALLIKATTU or ERUTHAZHUVUTHAL. Those you successfully tame it will get prize & pride, else the owner of the bull get the prize. It is the 2000 year old tradition followed by tamilians. Now the supreme court of India banned it and directed not to untie bulls from household?!..Now protest is on in all the part of Tamilnadu to protect their right to play Jallikattu.
